Objectives

The aim of the Yoga & Naturopathy studies is to promote, develop and disseminate Yoga among the general public on all over India & world level for prevention of diseases and health promotion. The specific objectives are as under:

  • To introduce Yoga modules developed by different leading Yoga Schools, college & university for health promotion.

COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is designed by Sarala Birla University meeting the requirements of the profession and the requirements of the UGC- CBCS scheme

Pedagogy

SBU has a firm belief in providing/rendering holistic education to develop competitive training skills and knowledge to the students. The programme is a right combination of traditional core subjects along with present day related knowledge such as Communicative English and Computers. Emphasis is given on practical knowledge , being facilitated by a mix of known professionals ranging from Doctors and Specialist Therapists to renowned faculty from Ashram's and spiritual world , as well as distinguished in-house faculty. ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION

Eligibility

Passing (Graduation, with Post graduation diploma in Yoga) qualifying examination or equivalent.

Students appearing in (Graduation, with Post graduation diploma in Yoga examination) may also apply.

Admission Process

Aspirants can apply online to https://admission.sbu.ac.in . They may also download the application form from the website of the University and may submit along with the relevant ducuments to the Information Centre of the University. They may also walk down to the University campus along with the relevant documents to the Information Centre for councelling and further admission process.

Applicants may submit the application form and required documents at the Admission Office personally or by post. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the application form is complete in all respects, and is accompanied by the required documents.

Applicants should attach the copies of the following Certificates/Documents.

  • Passing/ Provisional Certificated along with Mark Sheets of the qualifying examinations.
  • School/College Leaving Certificate last attended
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Anti- Ragging Affidavit
  • Medical Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner (M.B. B. S)

Note: Final Year students awaiting the declaration of results can also apply and can also be considered for admission. However ,they have to submit the relevant supportive documents at the time of admission

Selection Process

Selection of students for Master of Yoga & Naturopathy (Lateral entry ) Programme of Sarala Birla University, Ranchi is purely done on the basis of merit. However the university reserves the right of amending the admission and selection process.

Pertaining to the course the campus placement assistance and final placement would be provided by SBU .
