Overview

The Department of Pharmacy of SARALA BIRLA UNIVERSITY is designed to provide students with comprehensive and practical training for a career in Pharmacy. The Pharmacy field offers with lots of career opportunities after doing B.Pharma. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy. The B.Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th.

The University’s B. Pharm program trains students with a range of skills required for effective pharmacy practice. The teaching pedagogy of SBU is complemented by lectures and seminars, study projects, regular tutorials, practical assignments and interactive educational sessions.

Throughout the B. Pharmacy Programme, students are introduced to various medicines and drugs as well as their uses and effects/side-effects. This course has wide job opportunity for students in pharmaceutical industry vis-à-vis production, quality control, packaging, Pharmacovigilance, hospital Pharmacy, clinical and community pharmacy & higher Studies.

ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination of any recognized Board in India with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwD) in English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics.
